So the Arctic blast is what’s making it so cold on the east coast..
..bringing the coldest temperatures in a hundred years. One notable thing about our line of work is that it is greatly affected by the weather. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve played in all types of weather, including snow and rain; but people don’t usually like to go for a leisurely stroll in unseasonably cold temperatures, and I was planning to busk outside a popular Savannah ice cream shop in the evenings. It’s Friday so we decide it might be with our while to scout out the riverside this evening, and spend the day in the Hoose again. The kids do schoolwork and we work on music and house chores. Harry gets a nice haircut from Daniel and looks so grown up! He’s under the weather, as we all have been this past week, so our energy is pretty low. We get some gas and head to the dump, where they have propane! We park up and all enjoy a shower before emptying the tanks and heading into historic Savannah.
We complete our scouting mission but by the time we eat it’s late, dark, and we parked in a pretty rough area so we opt to have an early night and an early start tomorrow.
