It’s been a long time since we took the kids to spend their pocket money
they’ve been doing extra chores, so Grace and Harry have a really good amount to spend.
We take them to Goodwill and then Walmart, and they both spend a great deal of time considering their purchases- proud parents.
Harry finds a camera, but it needs film, and when we explain it all to him he puts it back and finds a kid-size guitar instead! He’s wanted one for ages so we are so happy to find it. He wants to paint it like the guitar from Coco, which I think will be so cool! He spends the rest of his money on a great new Lego set, which keeps him and Angus amused for hours.
Grace puts together a couple of cute outfits, finds a Harry Potter book, and buys some awesome wigs and a new hair clip. She spends hours trying them on and styling them.
Angus falls in love with a big, noisy dino car and although he plays with almost every other toy in the store, I can’t change his mind. He also chooses a pot of red and a pot of blue playdough.
Daniel buys some much-needed new clothes, including some running gear so he can finally go for morning runs.
We have a delicious chicken wrap dinner with homemade guacamole and salsa, then relax for the evening, talking over our plans for the week and doing a spot of social media work before bed.
